Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and hepatic metastases resection

Intraoperative imaging techniques are needed to enhance the accuracy of liver resection and the pathological diagnosis of small HCC and hepatic metastases.

Fluoptics solutions enable a highly sensitive identification of liver cancers through the visualization of the disordered biliary excretion of ICG that exists in HCC and noncancerous liver tissues surrounding hepatic metastases.
